Ski touring in Morocco
The first week of January 2018 the High Atlas massif is well covered with snow, it is time to go skiing either in Toubkal or in the region of Aît Bougummez and Mgoun, we offer you two programs below: Skiing in Toubkal or the central Atlas.
Toubkal ski program
Day1:
arrival and transfer to the hotel,
Day 2:
Transfer to OUKAÏMEDEN 2,600 m, climb the EDDI pass 2,900 m, descent to TACHEDDIRT, if you practice skiing at the station. Night at the CAF refuge.
Day 3:
Climb to the LIKKEMT pass 3,600 m and descend to TACHEDDIRT 2,300 m. 5 hours of skiing.
Day 4:
Climb to the IGUENOUANE pass 3,800 m and descend to TACHEDDIRT and IMLIL.
Day 5:
Climb to the NELTNER refuge 3,207 m and night at the CAF. 5 hours of skiing
Day 6:
Climb to the summit of TOUBKAL 4,167 m and descend at IMLIL.
Day 7:
Climb RAS NOUANOUKRIM and descend to IMLIL then to Marrakech. Night at the hotel in half-board.
Jour 8:
Transfer to the airport.
