Hiking and Trekking in the M’goun massif:
11 days / 6 nights in bivouac. 2 nights in a lodge / 2 nights in Marrakech in a hotel.
Medium-level trek, accessible to all walkers. 5 to 6 hours of walking per day. Period: from May to October.

Hiking and Trekking in the Mountains of Morocco
Mgoun 11-day hiking program:
Day 1:
Arrival in Marrakech or Ouarzazate, transfer to the hotel
Day 2: Transfer by minibus to the Ait Bouguemez valley ( happy valley)
lunch in Ait Ziri, possible visit to the Marabout Sidi Mousa, night in a lodge in Ait Ziri. 4 hours drive.
Day 3: Aît Ziri (1700m) – Arouss valley – Ikiss Arouss (2250)
Visit the last villages of the Bouguemez valley before reaching the village of Arouss, Ait Said, continuation to our bivouac at the end of the valley, at Ikiss-n-Arouss (2250m). 5 hours of walking.
Day 4: Ikiss-n-Arouss – Tarkdite pass (3300m) – Tarkdite plateau (2800m)
Climb to the source, 45 minutes walk, fill up with water and climb back up to the Tarkdite pass at 3300m altitude, panoramic view of the Mgoun range and the 4000m peaks, descent by a stony path to the Tarkdite plateau, at 2800m altitude, night at the bivouac. 5 hours walk.
Day 5: Tarkdite Plateau - Mgoun Summits (4068m) - Oulilimte)
Departure very early in the morning to climb Mount Mgoun, 5 to 6 hours of climbing, beautiful view of the valleys of southern Morocco, descent by a path to reach Assif Oulilimte, 2h30 to 3 hours of descent, night at the bivouac at 2700m on Assif Oulilimte.
Day 6: Assif Oulilim – Aflafal Source (2300m)
Descent to Assif Oulilimte, varied landscape, rocks in the shape of peaks, gorges, cliffs, night at the bivouac in Aflafal in Assif Mgoun. 5 hours of walking.
Day 7: Aflafal – Mgoun Valley – Village imi Irkt.
This stage allows you to discover the valley and villages of Mgoun, lunch at the village of Tighrfte, night at the bivouac at the village of Imi-n-Irkte, 5 hours of walking.
Day 8: Imi Irkt village - Mgoun Gorges - Tighanimine village.
Descent of the Mgoun gorges, walk in the water, lunch at the Ifsfass springs and night at the bivouac in the village of Tighanimine, 5 hours of walking.
Day 9: Village near Irkt - Village Ait Mraou.
A walking stage that allows us to discover the large village of Ait Mraou and Agerd Zega, night at the bivouac or at the locals' house. 5 hours of walking.
Day 10: Transfer to Marrakech
Transfer by taxi, minibus to Marrakech, lunch after the Tichka pass, night at your hotel or Riad.
Day 11:
Transfer to the airport
